Blogtober day 16 – piercing and tattoos

Hello welcome to day 16 of my Blogtober Challenge. The title that I have been given to write about today is “Piercing and Tattoos”. I don’t have any piercings or tattoos so this is going to be a short post!

I got my ears pierced when I was in my first year of university. I went to Claire’s Accessories in Meadow Hall shopping centre in Sheffield with one of my house mates. Unfortunately when I went to Ecuador I found that my ears were getting a bit sore under my earrings and I had to stop wearing them. I’ve never really got arostar-tattoo-designund to getting my ears re-pierced.

I really like tattoos even though I don’t have one. I like watching Tattoo Fixers and think some of the cover ups they do are amazing (even though they are always massive compared to the original tattoo). If I had a tattoo I would go for a design based on stars, maybe two big stars and three little ones to represent the members of my family. The only problem is that I hate needles though and am scared how much getting a tattoo would hurt. I would also want my tattoo to be done by a really skilled tattoo artist – so that it was really good quality one.

Maybe one day I might have the time to research tattoo artists and pluck up enough courage to get inked.

  1. I love your design idea, it’s beautiful! I was nervous about the pain at first too, but it doesn’t really feel anything like a needle. The best way I can describe it is like when you’ve got sunburn and after a few days you maybe scratch it? So it’s not at its worst, it’s sort of wearing off, so the pain’s really not very bad at all. The hardest bit is the tickling from the vibration of the needle! A good tattooist will look after you and make sure you’re okay at all times. Definitely do your research and find a good one! #Blogtober16

  2. Love the tattoo idea, I’d like something similar. Its many years ago since I had mine done but I can’t remember it hurting as such, although it was uncomfortable. Worth looking around and doing some research before committing x
