Living Arrows 2018, week 1/52

This year as part of my blogging routine I’ve decided to take part in Living Arrows, hosted by Donna from What the Redhead Said. This is a project that celebrates the special moments of childhood. The title comes from a line from a poem by Kahlil Gibran.

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Every week I’ll be posting a picture or two from our week. I love the idea of capturing these little special moments. They really are the building blocks of childhood.

This week’s photos capture the last day of 2017. We decided to head into Cambridge and have a meal together. We popped into this funfair on the spur of the moment as we walked back to the car.

I’ve always loved the bright, loudness of the fair. It felt like such a fun way to end the year. The boys chose to go on this little car ride. Sofia was more adventurous and went on this flying plane ride.

Happy New Year! Here to many special childhood moments in 2018!
