Welcome to week 6 of the Living Arrows project. Each week this year I will post a photo that captures a little everyday moment of the kids childhood. The title comes from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” .
This week I’ve snuck into the picture! This is me and Leo on Friday hanging out after school. We were just messing around taking photos while I was cooking dinner. This photo captures our relief of getting to the end of another busy week. Leo is showing off a little Lego animal that he had made.
Leo is such a special soul. He has quite a particular approach to life and really makes me laugh. He can be a little bit more reserved and sensitive than his brother. He is so loving and gives the best hugs.
The boys are genetically identical. They have had exactly the same life experience. Yet they have such different personalities – it’s completely fascinating!
